CI/CD Automation Engineer (f/m/x)

Your opportunity

We are looking for an automation engineer with the ability to design, develop and maintain Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible, Containers, Scripting and Management. You will be directly responsible for pipeline automation for continuous integration and .

You will acquire a greater knowledge of distributed computing, event sourcing, and event-driven, microservice architecture, with the support of our experienced team.

Your area of responsibility

  • Design and create CI/CD pipelines with development and Quality Assurance
  • Write configuration deployment tasks and playbooks with Ansible
  • Design, create and maintain Docker base images for CI/CD and microservices
  • Write shell scripts in bash and utilities in TypeScript and Node.js to automate tasks
  • Prepare release merge requests and deploy releases

What makes you the right candidate?

  • You have a solid understanding of the concepts behind CI/CD and enjoy designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab using YML syntax
  • Demonstrable and current experience in writing and maintaining Docker containers
  • You are a strong proponent for automation and you always strive to increase the degree of automation in all aspects of your work
  • Passion for clean and readable code in a scripting language like TypeScript
  • Confidence in writing shell scripts in a shell language like bash and utilities in a scripting language like TypeScript
  • Experience with mobile app automated release management for iOS and/or Android is desirable
  • Completed higher technical education preferred
  • Committed personality with good English skills
  • Eager to learn and enjoying a self-responsible way of working
  • EU citizen or valid working permission for the EU
  • Country of residence: Austria or Germany
